WHO WE ARE
Community Legal Assistance of Sarnia is a legal clinic funded by Legal Aid
Ontario, staffed by lawyers, community legal workers and administrative staff.
We are part of a network of 79 provincial legal clinics funded by Legal Aid
Ontario. As a non-profit corporation our operations are overseen by a
community based board of directors.
The Canada Revenue Agency is holding a free tax clinic
at the
West Lambton Community Health Centre on
Exmouth Street,
April 3, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

The Community Volunteer Income Tax Program is
designed for people with low incomes and relatively
simple tax situations.

Changes to Immigration Laws
In February, 2012 the
government introduced Bill C-31,
called Protecting Canada’s
Immigration System Act. If Bill C-
31 becomes law, there will be
extensive changes affecting
refugees and immigrants.
